AUTHOR BIO

Former Australian TV presenter and registered nutritionist, Karen Fischer, is the author of seven books including The Healthy Skin Diet (2008), The Eczema Diet, The Eczema Detox and The Healthy Skin Kitchen (due for release in March 2021). Karen’s personal journey with eczema, psoriasis and chemical intolerance prompted her to study nutrition and health science, and when her daughter developed severe eczema, she designed The Eczema Diet and a supplement routine for her. The Eczema Diet has since become a best seller and featured on prime time 7 News ‘breakthrough diet for eczema’. Karen’s book The Eczema Detox is the new version of The Eczema Diet. In 2016 Karen launched her supplement brand Skin Friend, which is dedicated to helping people with skin disorders.
